What is Reishi?
The Reishi mushroom (Ganoderma lucidum) has been used in Asia for thousands of years. It grows on the trunks and stumps of deciduous trees and is widely known as the ‘divine mushroom of immortality’. It is one of the most prized mushrooms in East Asian tradition.
Contains a range of polysaccharides, especially beta-glucans, and triterpenes — compounds naturally present in Reishi fruiting bodies.
What is dual extraction?
It is a process used to extract key nutrients from mushrooms. Dried fruiting bodies undergo a double extraction — with hot water and alcohol in a 1:5 ratio. Alcohol is used to release compounds that are insoluble in water. This is what makes the tincture so rich in active compounds.
The product itself is made from fruiting bodies, not mycelium (the underground part). All the beneficial compounds are found in this part of the mushroom, which grows above the surface. Some manufacturers use laboratory-grown mycelium, meaning their products may lack some of the active compounds.
Optimal use
Start slowly and gradually increase the dose as needed. We recommend incorporating the extract into your evening routine.
The maximum recommended daily dose is 2 ml. 1 pipette contains 0.6 ml of tincture. Ideally, use 1–3 pipettes in the evening.
You can apply the drops directly under the tongue and swallow, or add them to water, tea, coffee, or a smoothie and drink.
