BIO certification is more than just a label

No pesticides, no chemicals — organic farming without compromise, confirmed by BIO certification with every batch.

Origin

El Salvador, 1 400 m.n.m.

High altitude slows the ripening of coffee cherries. The beans have more time to accumulate sugars and organic acids — resulting in notes of fig and dark chocolate.

Farming

BIO, pesticide-free

The Andalusia plantation has been managed organically for many years. No synthetic fertilisers, no chemicals. The BIO certificate confirms this with every batch.

Variety

100 % arabica, single origin

This is not a blend. High-altitude arabica has a more complex flavour profile — smoother, naturally sweet, without the bitterness of robusta or lowland arabica.

Our approach

At Powerlogy, we go further in developing products that unite clean taste with real functionality. We believe that quality food changes how you think — and that's why all our products high nutritional value.

This arabica coffee meets the most stringent quality criteria for genuine support for your body and the pleasure of a discerning palate.

Frequently asked questions

Arabica grows at higher altitudes, ripens more slowly and has a more complex flavour profile with fruity and chocolate notes. Robusta grows lower, ripens faster and has a higher caffeine content, but significantly lower flavour quality and a pronounced bitterness. Organic Coffee is 100% arabica grown at 1 400 m.n.m.

Once ground, coffee quickly oxidises and loses its aromatic compounds — within 15 minutes much of the aroma escapes, and within 24 hours most of it is gone. Whole beans are far more stable and retain freshness much longer. That's why we recommend grinding just before brewing.

Mycotoxins (ochratoxin A, aflatoxins) are toxins produced by moulds that can develop during improper storage or processing of coffee beans. Common in cheap commercial coffees, they can cause chronic fatigue and digestive issues. Every batch of Organic Coffee is laboratory-tested and meets strict limits.

Store in an airtight container in a cool, dark, dry place at room temperature. Do not freeze — condensation when removing the bag accelerates oxidation. Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources. Properly stored whole-bean coffee stays fresh for 2–4 weeks after opening.

Yes. Medium roast is versatile — it works beautifully for espresso and filter methods alike (drip, French press, AeroPress). For espresso grind fine (7–9 g, 25–30 s); for filter grind coarse (15 g per 250 ml water, 3–4 min). The flavour profile of fig and chocolate notes shines through with both methods.

Our favorite coffee, I'm sure I've already praised it here before. Ever since we got a coffee machine, we've tried different coffee brands, but we found this one and stayed loyal to it. Just opening the bag, the smell is incredibly pleasant. With other coffees we often noticed a kind of staleness, or over-roasted beans, that "burnt" smell. Powerlogy coffee is excellent, fragrant, with a nice light foam, easy on the stomach, we always enjoy it as a family. You do need to set your coffee machine right, and the grind and desired intensity affect the brew too (depends on the type of machine). On behalf of our family, neighbors and friends, I can only recommend it.

I have a question, and it's a really important one: is this a "mould free" coffee? Something like Purity Coffee or other Best Mould Free Coffee Brands, free of mould and mycotoxins, with a certificate and purity guarantee? This is important information for me because of an anti-mould protocol. Does it come with at least the same guarantee as NoordCode coffee? Is it possible to publish the purity tests? Purity Coffee and similar brands don't deliver to Slovakia, so for now I'm limited to NoordCode

Diana Lackovičová

Hello Vierka,

Our Organic Coffee is 100% BIO arabica from an organically certified farm in El Salvador, roasted in Slovakia, and it goes through laboratory quality testing.

We don't currently publish a specific mold-free/mycotoxin certificate or test for this product in the style of Purity Coffee or NoordCode, so we'd rather not give you an inaccurate answer to that specific question.

If you'd like the specific lab protocols, please write to us at [email protected] — we'll check and send over what we have available for this coffee.

Kind regards,

The Powerlogy Team

A tasty and safe coffee for my histamine issues - first just a small ristretto, and after a while a large cup is fine too. :)
