Frequently asked questions

Arabica brings complexity, smoothness, and a flavour profile of chocolate and nuts. Robusta adds extra caffeine, a full body, and the distinctive espresso crema that Arabica alone cannot deliver. The right 50/50 blend brings the best of both worlds: Arabica's flavour with Robusta's strength and crema.

Once ground, coffee rapidly oxidises and loses aromatic compounds — within 15 minutes a large portion of the aroma is gone, and within 24 hours most of it has dissipated. Whole beans are far more stable. This is why we always recommend grinding just before brewing — especially important for maximum crema with espresso.

Mycotoxins (ochratoxin A, aflatoxins) are toxins produced by moulds when coffee beans are stored incorrectly. Common in cheap commercial coffees. They can cause chronic fatigue and digestive issues. Every batch of Organic Coffee Strong is laboratory tested and meets strict limits.

Yes — Strong is an excellent choice for both domestic automatic coffee machines and lever espresso machines. The espresso roast and Robusta content ensure a thick crema and strong body even with automatic brewing. We recommend setting the grinder to a finer grind for espresso (7–9 g, 25–30 s).

Store in an airtight container in a cool, dark, dry place at room temperature. Do not freeze — condensation when removing the bag accelerates oxidation. Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources. Properly stored whole-bean coffee stays fresh for 2–4 weeks after opening.

I like an intense coffee taste, and with this one, under the same conditions I've used until now (coffee machine, amount of coffee, water...), the taste seems less pronounced to me than with other brands. But I'll definitely finish it, otherwise it has a pleasant profile.
