Why Aquamin® and not regular calcium?
Most supplements use synthetic calcium carbonate derived from dolomite or chalk. Aquamin® is a natural extract from the red seaweed species Lithothamnion calcareum, which accumulates calcium and trace minerals directly from seawater. The result is a multi-mineral complex with its original structure — not an isolated chemical compound. Calcium contributes to the maintenance of normal bone structure and normal muscle function.
