Bovine Collagen Basics
Beef collagen comes from bovine hide and is mostly types I and III. It is the longest established and best selling form of the two, and it is the base of most of our collagen powders, drinks and bars.
The range has 21 products, from the 300 g tubs Upgraded Collagen Joint+ and Gut+ to the Collagen Bar. The Joint+ powder has 326 kcal and 51 g protein per 100 g, with 0.7 g sugars. Choose powder if you want to set your own dose and a bar if you want it measured out.
From beef are Natural Collagen in several sizes, Choco Collagen in 300 g, Fizzy Collagen in three flavours and the Collagen Protein Bar.
Beef or marine is mainly a question of diet and price. The difference in amino acid profile is small.
