What matters in 20 seconds
The foundation is Chuncho variety cacao complemented by non-alkalised cacao powder. Non-alkalised processing preserves the polyphenols — 648 mg of them in a single serving.
Theobromine in cacao delivers gentle, long-lasting energy without the jitteriness caused by caffeine.4 No added sugar, gluten, dairy, or artificial preservatives.

Built With Intent
A functional blend of 8 ingredients. The foundation is the rare Chuncho cacao variety, complemented by non-alkalised cacao powder that preserves the polyphenols. MCT fats and rice milk give a creamy taste with no dairy, while chicory inulin, maca and Ceylon cinnamon complete the functional profile.

What goes into the blend?
Three ingredient groups in a single serving — theobromine energy, polyphenols, and prebiotic fibre.
Theobromine vs caffeine — a difference you'll feel
Like coffee, cacao gives you a lift. But while caffeine brings a sharp spike followed by a rapid drop, theobromine works gently and sustainably — no jitters, no crash.
Polyphenols — how much you actually get in one serving
Polyphenols are the plant compounds cacao is known for. What matters is the serving, not a percentage in a table. One 10 g serving of Upgraded High Energy Cacao gives you 648 mg of polyphenols, including 169 mg of flavanols and 79 mg of epicatechin.1–2
Values in mg of polyphenols per serving. Cocoa, wine and tea: Lee KW et al., J Agric Food Chem 2003;51:7292–7295 (gallic acid equivalents). The figure for Upgraded High Energy Cacao comes from raw-material analysis — the analytical methods differ, so the chart is an indicative comparison.
Upgraded Cacao or Ceremonial Cacao?
Both are premium cacao with no alkalisation. They differ in composition and purpose — choose based on what you're looking for.

Frequently asked questions
Both are natural stimulants, but they work differently. Caffeine acts quickly and briefly (peak at 1 hour, crash after 4–5 hours). Theobromine kicks in slowly, peaks at 3–4 hours, and its effects last 6–8 hours — with no jitteriness and no energy crash.
Chuncho is a rare Peruvian cacao variety from the Cusco region, prized for its full, gently fruity flavour. Non-alkalised processing preserves the polyphenols — one 10 g serving contains 648 mg of them, including 169 mg of flavanols and 79 mg of epicatechin.
Yes. It pairs perfectly with C8 MCT oil (energy + better absorption), collagen in a morning shake, or Powerlogy protein in a smoothie. Theobromine does not interfere with the effects of other ingredients.
It depends on individual sensitivity to theobromine. It is milder than caffeine, but in more sensitive individuals it may affect sleep. The ideal time to consume it is in the morning or early afternoon. For the classic "hot chocolate before bed," we recommend using half a serving.
Once opened, consume within 6 months. Store in a dry, dark place — moisture may cause clumping (this is not a defect).
