Powerlogy breakfast porridge with granola and nougat

Length of preparation: 10 minutes Number of persons: 2

This recipe is very versatile and you can happily make it with any flakes you like. You can also use any plant milk to your taste. And as for fruit, it is best to reach for whatever is in season. Your taste buds will certainly enjoy the different combinations.

Why is this porridge healthier and more functional than the usual ones?

First of all, it is gluten-free. For us that is already a quiet standard, but a very important one. Another benefit is that the Nougat Cream and fresh fruit contain significantly less sugar than ordinary nut spreads, jams or sweetened dried fruit.

Why you do not have to compromise on taste

You pick a healthier recipe, you try to improve the way you eat, but you simply do not enjoy it, and so those “super” new healthy recipes get left behind. We understand you very well: nobody would voluntarily eat tasteless healthy recipes for long.

We are advocates of uncompromising quality (top ingredients only), but also of pure, full flavour. At Powerlogy we simply do not make anything we would not enjoy ourselves, and we take the same approach to recipes. Nougat Cream made from quality hazelnuts and real cacao is so delicious that it easily replaces over-sweetened spreads. And fresh fruit brings out the full potential of the porridge.

Method:

  • Cover the rice and buckwheat flakes with the milk and cook until thickened.
  • Stir the maple syrup into the porridge and serve it in a bowl.
  • Sprinkle with crunchy granola, decorate with cherries and drizzle with nougat cream.

This batch makes 2 small children’s portions.

The recipe was made for us by Patrícia from the blog Hit je zdravo žiť.
