Why is this porridge a better choice?
The porridge contains no cow’s milk, which automatically makes it a dish suitable for anyone avoiding lactose and casein. And if you use gluten-free oat flakes or try other naturally gluten-free flakes (rice flakes, for example), you get a light breakfast that will not tire you out. On the contrary, it will give you energy for a productive morning. And turmeric, a source of antioxidants, makes it even more interesting.
Why you do not have to compromise on taste
Even though the porridge is more functional and lighter to digest, it has lost nothing in flavour. The attractive nougat and cashew cream with coconut take care of a very tasty and pleasantly sweet breakfast. Combined with the organic turmeric spice blend, the porridge becomes even more interesting.
Method:
- Put the oat flakes into a smaller saucepan.
- Add the milk, honey, poppy seeds, goji berries and Powerlogy Upgraded Organic Turmeric and bring to the boil.
- When the porridge thickens, add the banana cut into small pieces and the blueberries. If the porridge is too thick, pour in more milk or water.
- Pour the porridge into a bowl, decorate with banana, goji berries, poppy seeds and cashew nuts and add the Powerlogy Nougat and Powerlogy Cashew creams.
