GREEN on the plate?
We know – it does not look tempting to everyone, or all the time. But at Powerlogy we decided to bring a small green revolution into your kitchen too.
Green is the colour of hope, it reflects positive energy, relaxation, a calm mind and, not least, the most important thing of all – HEALTH. So we have put together recipe ideas that carry the idea of HEALTH ON A PLATE.
Join our Green Month initiative. Because at Powerlogy we do not believe that “the healthier it is, the worse it tastes”. Quite the opposite. See for yourself and try making this unusual banana loaf baked green. By the way, its colour comes from real spinach.
Method:
- First blitz the oat flakes into a fine flour and tip them into a bowl.
- Add the coconut and buckwheat flour, the baking powder and a pinch of salt.
- Put the mashed bananas, spinach, eggs, milk and cashew cream into a blender and blitz to a smooth mixture.
- Pour this mixture into the bowl and gently stir in the MCT oil.
- Then combine the dry ingredients with the wet ones into a compact batter.
- Line a loaf tin (or any other tin you have at home) with baking paper and pour in the batter.
- Bake the loaf at 180 °C for about 30-40 minutes depending on your oven.
- How you decorate it is entirely up to you.
- We recommend drizzling it with our poppy seed cream, which together with the sweet taste of baked bananas makes an irresistible combination.
