Grated pastry, full of delicious quark filling with a cacao crumble? Almost everyone knows this classic cake, the one that was always baked on a big tray at grandma’s house.
In this recipe we combined the traditional taste of our childhood with upgraded Powerlogy products, so you will not find any sugar or wheat flour in it. We replaced part of the flour with our collagen, and the filling contains cashew cream, which gives it sweetness and a pleasant nutty flavour.
Make our Powerlogy version of this much-loved grated quark cake with us.
Method:
- In a bowl, mix the eggs, quark, honey, Powerlogy cashew cream and collagen into a compact dough and divide it into 2 equal parts.
- Stir 1 tbsp of cacao and 4 tbsp of coconut flour into one part.
- Add 2 tbsp of coconut flour to the other part and mix well so that the ingredients come together.
- Add the same amount of our ghee butter to each part and work it in gently with your hands.
- Shape the cacao part into a compact ball and leave both parts to firm up in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
- Line a tin with baking paper. Grate half of the cacao part over the bottom of the tin. Then spoon the pale part over it and grate the rest of the cacao part on top.
- Bake for roughly 30 minutes at 175 °C.
- Leave to cool for about 2 hours.
- Before serving, scatter over shavings of our Powerlogy Chocobar.
